Certianly prepped for taxi? You don't salt? Should be a valuable hide to taxi market I would think.

Prepped for Taxi Len and not salt needed with a clean flesh job. I think this was my best wolf put up yet. The trapped foot was even in great shape. I put it on the market for $1200.

Tremendous wolf there AKHowler!

I enjoy reading your threads and viewing your pics of the AK Range. I've been lurking here for a little while now. I saw you at the wolverine talk the other night and should have said "hello". I started playing with snares and wolves last winter. Anyway, heck of a trophy you got there, nice work.

Made it back off the line. Got a check in the mail and put the big white wolf in the mail. Happy and sad at the same time.Pulled my marten gear on the way out and most of the cat gear. Picked a few marten and ended the season with 48 marten, 2 short of my goal of 50. Educated a pack of 14 wolves on Pee Post Pass. The 9's melted out and were sitting out in the wide open. Hung a few snares on a kill and on a bait. Picked up a ermine in a MB 750 on a hanging White set. He fell off the bait right into the tra sp below. No canines in my traps or snares. Finished my one-legged wood stove for the cabin and got it installed. Hauled out a load of lumber for the shed and covered some of the most spectacular country. Been running that country for 20 years and am still amazed every time I get out there. Feel like a tourist on my own line. I'll put some more pics on in the morn.

Wow, he did make the power dive on there to set it off. Love the pictures. I think I recognize a few of those far off ridges, but I tend to see them in the fall with more green and yellow on them.

Thanks guys, I did all the design and building of the wood stove in my shop. That cold snap we had gives ya a bit of time to think. Maybe a bit much but your stove should be the center piece of your cabin. Okie, I'm not really stuck picking up the ptarmagin but forward movement came to a hault. I got lazy and tried to ride up to pick up my birds. Ended up walking up the hill and throwing them down the hill. I steed backed right out and down the hill.
