Coloradocat, do you cover the bottom of your cage traps with dirt
or do bobcats enter the trap with the bottom uncovered?

weasel, I do cover the bottom wire. I dont believe and cat would enter one without the floor being covered. As far as where I get these cat cages. I make most of mine, but Yancys have a really great cage.

Most of my cages are 10 and 12" wide. I feel that height is more important than width. That being said, mine are 20" tall. Yancy can be found on here, but wouldnt look for him for a bit as he is trapping. Escape, I just cover, my bottoms, brush them up a bit, and make sure your right ontop of cats with a cage. Bait and lure how ya like. And just remember that not all cats will go in them all the time. You will have refusesals. But then one day he will just zip right in there. I had 12 cats in one day refuse cages. Then the next day caught 2. Its weird, but something you have to accept with cages. Will see if I have a photo of a set. Hope it helps.
