Thanks all. I'll try to let you know what this mink brings when I sell it.

Well, I heard back from my buyer. He will not make any deduction for having the legs on the front side since it's only one, but said they should be on the back side of the board in the future.

you did a fine job , pleating the tail is a waste of time .do not pull the tail down tight and tack it out taunt , that thins out the fur on the lower back which is why some went to pleating them to bunch up the lower back fur. just tack it out as it lays when pull down on the board . you could have pinned the front leg holes shut or just left them a hair longer so there was a stub sticking out away . mouth is a little open but should be fine as is.

I sell many put up just about like you just did and get top dollar for them so don't sweat it.

Just,

It's a piece of old gutter guard. My parents had some that broke near the corners and such and replaced them. I took the old ones and cut them into pieces to use for holding tails flat. It takes a lot less pins this way. They are about $2 for a 4' piece at Lowes. Here is a link...

I said I'd let you know what I got for the mink, so here it is...$22.00. I was happy with that.

Cut the inspection window up just short of the penis hole, legs on back and pleat the tail. Fleshing job looks great!
