Mercer:

Looks to me like you need one of these traps . . . .

Maybe you and Uncle Bob could get together and come up with a design. That would save him from having to copy it from you once you had it perfected. laugh

I might run out of bobcats if I did that.

Lazarus? You mama give you that name?

Nevadafornia? So would a Nevadafornian be someone who moved from Cali to Nev or the other way around?

Nevadafornia AKA Las Vegas. Most people here have the same views as people in California. Hug trees and take rights from others!

Man, am I ever glad I found this thread! To think I was about to RUIN my whole trapping season! I bet that Steve Wood feller actually buried all his traps to catch the cats on his video and just put in clips of exposed sets to cut down the competition! crazy

With regard to holding roof shingle pan covers on trap pans, I buy elastic fabric tape, cut a piece the width of the pan cover, put dab of glue on each end, and stick the tape on the pan cover - makes the cover quick and easy to slide on and off the trap.

Great thread guys. I too fell for the line of bull that Steve Wood spews and now I cant seem to catch any cats if my traps aren't out there for everyone to see, and no self respecting bobcat would ever step in one of them Right??

Kansas cats. I am just barely trapping at all here in Tx. I have however been taking out a few coyotes and greys with your bait. Its good stuff Cletis!

Oh and I sure wish I could catch more with a belly like that middle one. Its was as nice as any I ever caught.
