Marten do bound when they move around though. Would be interesting to see if you have any that jump through them.

Another marten! caught this one on a 1 1/2 trap. You can actually see the nail where i nailed my bait.
PS the bait was a goose foot smeared with marten super all call. I also used magnum marten LDC lure high up in the tree.

i had a snare in the beginning of the pole but the marten got into the snare and somehow got out. You can see the snare hanging from the tree on the right.

I guess i have one that jumped through a snare. but thankfully i had a trap further...

Got this marten on two snares. one on his belly and the other one on his neck. Some marten dont fight much when in a snare but this one sure did. but even with the snare marks this one should bring atleast 90 bucks. Its a huge dark one.

Thanks! Sorry that the pics are not too great but this is my first year trapping marten so i get very excited when i catch one.

P.S. I want to thank you all guys that wished me luck on my line! I caught more animals this year than any other year! Thanks again! My goal is at least 12 marten and im almost there!
