I know how to adjust the conibear so that it will go off before the animal goes real deep in the trap. The problem I am having with one is that im getting nose catches with it. How would I adjust it to prevent this?

Not good for business when that happens.

maybee you can take a round file and make the notch a little deeper or bend the triggers a little so they lean away from the critter a ways.
