I take it you don't really care for a dipped trap? Looks as if they were ready to go when you got them.

I haven't tried it for that, but to take the glare off new snares, an overnight soak in vinegar mixed with water works great.
I don't care how nice the hand soap smells, you should never walk out of the restroom sniffing your fingers.

Well here are the results...maybe it was a fluke but it worked GREAT...Didn't even need to brush them, just a good rinse with a garden hose! Here's a trap that just got rinsed with the garden hose next to 2 traps...one dipped with what I guess is speed dip and the other with what looks like a coating of F1 before they were rinsed off... Here's a closer view of the rinsed off trap next to the speed dipped trap that has not been rinsed with the garden hose. I decided to dump a few of the rinsed off traps in the sun on the way to the shed so you guys could see how clean they came...

Have seen how good it works for dip removal, does it work that well removing last years wax and crud with just a soak and spray off with hose?? would be much easier than boiling in sani flush as I do now if thats the case. Thanks, Fur

I have been soaking mine in a 60 vinegar 40 water mix for two days now with no sign of a clean trap. Looks the same as when I put the dipped trap in. How long did you let it set Blue?

I agree ... it works pretty good when only needing to clean up a few ... but when needing to do more than a few I've had good results just cold soaking in sani flush, no boiling or simmering , followed by a good power washing ... might have to spot brush a few stubborn ones] its just a shame you cant buy sani flush anymore, i loved using it.
