Thanks Takotna! I guess I better get skinning and fleshing!

I am taking fur through April 18th, not sure about Abby but would expect the same. I know that the Stoughton, WI office extends it an extra seven days for Alaskan shippers to insure that as much fur makes it in as possible.

Ol' Blister...Nice comment in the Alaska Magazine. I spent some time reading back issues this past weekend and saw your comment on the beavers. Well Done!

That is the darkest one I have caught,I wish I could catch 100,I would take pale ones even :),but I will have to settle for the dozen I have caught and hope for next year,my cat line seamed to peter out at the end,so possibly the crash is comming and in that case, will have to be a full time Marten trapper soon..it sure is easy compared to skinning cats smile

Wow they are dark.
Here is a funny. At least it made me laugh.
Newhouse posted beaver tails for sale in the trapshed and a guy asked what someone does with them.

Someone posted.

Wow, does that ever look nice Takotna! Lots of times, flying over your stomping grounds, I wonder if some snow machine trail I see down there is yours.
