had a friend go to a coon job lady had a coon in the attic the friend told her he could do the job but the coon would have to be put down (law down here in louisiana) well she wouldnt heard of that happening to the poor coon and sent the friend on his way. That night the coon decided to urinate right over one of the lights in her house ( one with a globe and was water tite ) anyway by the next evening the light had cooked the urine and the smell was all over the house Lady called friend back and imformed him Rocky had to go after the urine incedent

About a week ago me and my dad were up in tha hayloft when dad lifted up a tarp to find a momma grey fox and 3pups. She started snarling and I jumped out of the loft into what I thought was hay but it wasnt now I got a broken collar bone

The three skunk went off (all three) when i picked them up......And are not to happy with the raccoons and the Dogs/noise.............

Got call today from a man want me to get ride of deer eating his peas in his pea patch Informed him by louisiana law I could not fool with deer but man sounded like elderly gentle man so I went ahead and asked him to tell me about the patch well its like 50 feet by 50 feet and my neighbor is fixin to start shooting the deer at night if they dont leave the patch alone. I then asked him if he knew where the deer where entering the patch "O yes there is only 1 place they can are coming in. asked him if he had any dogs stated yes ok here answer get dog stake dog in on a run line on the side where the deer are entering the patch end of problem

People in Louisana have their own laws! Ha!

lol yea it can get interesting down here at times lt heck when i was a kid it wasnt unheard of too here where somone got shot over a dog even know of one case where 2 folks got into an arguement over who's dog caught a wild hog (fella's been hunting together for years) fella who lost arguement went to winners dog pen and put stricknine out for all his dogs killed the whole pack (like 9 dogs)

Today,I arrived at a mole customers, (which is normally on my afternoon run) at exactly 8:55 am. I step out of the vehicle and go behind it to unload my mole traps and gear. About that time the phone rings and I answer and start speaking with a customer. I go around to the passenger side and open the door to get a pen and paper. At the same moment, I hear (and see out of the corner of my eye), the garage door opening....no big deal. as the customer often comes out to talk, as I make my rounds...

Seconds later I feel a crash as the driver (in his new Porshe) slams into my front bumper, the corner of the passenger door catching me right under the right arm knocking me back several feet, dropping what I had in my hands!

He, (A pharmisist, who was running late for work) jumps out..."OMG!!!!!!! I didn't even see you, are you OK? I was watching my wife's van....Sonova*&&^^%$$%^&^&..(When he sees the damage to his car) Are you OK?"

About this time out runs the wife (fuzzy slippers, housecoat and all) I bet he wishes he got hurt when she was done with him.... Other than a sore back, bruised ribs and getting the wind knocked out of me,.....I think I'm alright. So much for being early......

I'm taking the rest of the day off!

Driving a Honda,...( The "Mole Patrol" Mobile) great on gas... Hot day, 90's....power motor on the drivers window locks up! Dang, but it's hot, so not to worry, right? Get a "late" call while I'm out......Raccoon caught, dang, wish they had called earlier...but still no big deal...I'll throw him in the trunk. Pick up the raccoon, stop by the P.O. and pick up $900. worth of checks...( Get th' Love, right Vinke?...Inside joke) Ok, got to stop at the local library.....can't lock the vehicle, window's down...take everything valuable, lock it in the trunk.....only the 'coon reackes through and knocks over the clip board, grabbing the checks and shreading them into about 2 dozen pieces............Man, can't wait to get him home!

Now that is FUNNY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am thinking that Rocky Raccoon was just spreading the "Love".........

When you wear a "ball cap" much of the time, you often have a certain blind spot just above your head....couldn't have been more apparent than the other day, when I backed into a carport,(which was on a 45/degree. About 8 ft on one and 6 ft on the other. Got out fine.....then as I went to walk around the back of the vehicle, all the while looking at a sprung cage trap wondering..."What in the ..." BAM! Next thing I know,I'm laying on the pavement... the customer is asking "Are you ok"?

( Someone forgot to yell "DUCK"!)

I just got the stitches out the same day the check arrived in the mail....I'll need it to pay the Dr. bill...

One day in late July, since no one was around, I decided to work on some traps...and since it was about 90 degrees, I decided to do a little "sunbathing". Now, one should realise, I live in the country, surrounded by cornfields, which by this time were 12 ft. high. So no chance for exposure...except the sun, of course...or so I thought.

I was working behind a wall of concrete block any way...but when I went to move something and stumbled, knocking over some pallets, when I heard a buzzin' sound...ut-oh That doesn't sound good...
...a nest of bumble bees and they came out with a vengence!
All I could think of was to grab my shirt and try to swat them off me, when all of a sudden one was right between my legs. That's when I took off runnin' across the yard and with one leap into the pool I went!

When I came up on the other side, the meter lady was walking BACK to her car..."Nice day for a swim", she says, looking straight ahead and kept on walking. Wonder if my bill will be more or less this time?

This is one of those posts where I have absolutely nothing to say!

Now that is what I would call a Kodak moment.I believe there are names for places that folks do such things. But typically they are posted to warn those that are weak of heart to stay away if they cant tolerate the sights. LOL
