i agree 100%......was browsing thru the diffrent forums and i stumbled onto this thread.

don't let my name foxkidd44 fool ya.....i'll be 40 years old this november.........24 of those years i had a ciggarette in my mouth..........i was able to fnnaly quit about a year and a half ago...but it wasn't easy.

i still crave one......i have to keep tellin myself no..that i don't need it.
tobacco will also mess up your mouth...tear your gums and teeth up.

i've seen wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to many people die from tobacco use......it will kill you.

i wanna be trapping for a good long while yet...and i don't wanna be carrying around an oxygen tank to do it.

for those who have vowed to never touch it, AWESOME!!!, for those who have quit, AWESOME!, for those still using tobacco...quit now........someone loves ya and don't want ya to wind up dying a horrible death.

okay another point to bring up lets say you chew 3 tins a day and te cheap stuff so lets say 5 bucks a tin that $15 a week 30 a month and $360 a year just remeber this is pretty low end stats alot of people have a tin a day especially once they start doing it a while thats around 1600 for bad stuff a year many better things to spend money on

guys, i have to say, if i read this post 3 months ago, i would have just ignored it. but, with the help of my loving girlfriend, i have completly stoped chewing. it took me three months, but im finally rid of it.

expensive: i spent alot more money per week on chew than i thought i did. iv only been rid of the habbit a couple weeks, and iv already noticed an extra $10 in my pocket.

all im saying is, dont start. and if you have already, quit now while you can. i chewed for the better half of 3 years, and after 3 months, with the help of my loving girlfried, i have stoped.

I'm 31 and been chewing for about 16 years. it was no small feat for you to quit coon sniper...I know, cuz I've tried, so good job man!

I know kids will do what they want, and hear the "never start" from their parents..I know I did. But like many, I just thought I'd never get addicted...the sad thing is, you have to WORK at it to get addicted, stupid, and can ruin lives.And dont think chewing is safer than smoking!

just like today: i went into work (i mow yards, 7 of them), and my girlfriends brother-in-law whipped out a can and took a dip, and offered me. i declined. also, it just happened to be the exact same kind i used to chew, so it was extreeeeemely tempting.

yeah it can git pretty tempting.

The part you are fighting now is the reflex actions part of quiting....Great job on the decline CS....You will be doing that the rest of your life....but it gets easier every time you say NO.
No ONE smokes in our home or in our vehicle ....period. If it is 20 below and snowing with 30 MPH winds...if you are at my home you go outside or don't smoke...Tom

yeah, its gonna get harder before it gets easier, i can tell...and smoking, i have never smoked. i dont like it. the smell, the taste. ughh. i admit, chewing is one of the dumbest decisions iv made in my 16 years alive, but now im rid of it. maybe.
