Anyone care to give a few tips on your best method for trapping chipmunks.

Thanks...

cage trap works good for me. Some use rat traps but I have avoided using them for fear of freaking out a customer if a squirrel happened to get caught.

Multi-catch cages. Most any commercial rodent bait or lure topped off with corn and/or sunflower seeds. I try to set them out of sight. Get more than half a dozen in a cage at a time and they start killing each other.

I use a weasle box baited with shelled corn. Set it right next to the hole. You'll have them in short order. I have even caught them in non-baited weasle boxes set at the hole. Rat trap in the box. I have also used the trapline mole trap with great success. Set it and slide it in the hole. Be sure to stake it off though.

I have used Peanut Butter & sunflower Seeds in a small live trap
That worked very well & also a Mouse trap with Peanut Butter & sunflower seeds also works.
