I wanna go up there, how much would it cost? White, do you have internet service back in there? or maybe your cabin isn't really back in by lost mountain.

Okie, you've got to enter this story in a contest like the NTA contest, I bet you would win.

No there is no internet service there.

It's beyong lost mountain.

It takes 3 days to get there by boat and we normally don't see anyone for 6 months at a time unless Curly is out looking for wolves or delivering Christmas dinner.

Last year on Christmas I was out checking traps all day. When I got back to the cabin there was a new stack of magazines on the table. There was also a freshly roasted goose dinner with all the trimmings. Curly and Betty were playing Santa Claus that day.

Seems like trapping is always good on Christmas. Musta been awesome coming in to a great meal! Had a guy stop in to check once and thought he'd leave me some fresh fruit. Time I got there the apples were hard as pool balls.

That was the best story I ever read here on Trapperman, I printed it out and had my wife and kids read it. Could you repost or PM it to me if you still have it?

IMO, this current tale by Okiekajun is second only to that one for best Trapperman read and like everybody else, I'm really looking forward to the next installment.
