I have a large beaver job coming up that’s a 3 hour drive one way.
I don’t like turning down any beaver work, so I may stay up there and bill my customer for travel and lodging expenses.

You got it right. Lodging and expenses get worked into the bid proposal.

I couldn't imagine doing a job that required six hours of driving each day just to commute. Living arrangements would be necessary.

As long as the pay is good, I'll go where ever I'm needed.

I never had a bid like that because I only do surrounding counties in my area. If I did have to travel that far for such a job I would definitely include the travel time and the lodging expense in the final bill, I hate to turn down money to but I am not in the business of losing money earthier, anyways wish you the best of luck with the job!
