Great pics Paul. A real contrast of your location and habitat as compared to up here in Ohio.

What? No mink? Great pictures Boss. Are there many muskrats in your area?

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Today I picked up a large male beaver in the dam set I made in the city, and I picked up an adult female at that place where the beavers were crossing the company path. That set hasn't missed a lick yet - lol.

Also picked up three more nutrias.

I enjoyed your post immensely, Mr Paul.

Them nutra-rats sure do mess up a lot of good otter and beaver sets around here. On one little creek I set 4 280s on a dam, went on down and set 4 more. Came back by the first ones I set and had 4 nutras already. Reset and by dark had 4 more. Next morning 4 more....that got old quick.

Quite a pine plantation they have flooded,10 acres @ 20 cords per acre seem about right. Cost of lost to timber company would be?
Thanks for sharing, just like the Mn boys, there is nothing white and hard in your pics. But we are both mosquitoe free.

Even if that beav was caught here or in NS, it would be completely worthless. Southern fur and as small as a muskrat, less than worthless.
