i am new to trapping an i made 5 dirthole sets last night 3 sets were made with reaguler old jelly to in hopes of a coon an 2 were made with hawbakers red fox bait 400 in the 3 sets i made with jelly i got 3 possums my question is are these things pretty easy to catch? are they worth anything? (not that im in it for the money).an how do i keep them out of my sets for coon?...an i didnt get any fox in my other 2

Um they come to all of your sets and there is no good way to keep them out just dispatch all the ones you catch and hope the population goes down

You have to wade through the grinners to get to the coons. You'll get about a $1.00 for a pelt.. sometimes .50 other times (good market) 2-3$
They do make good skinning and fleshing practice though. Any yes, they are easy to catch..

it might also take a week or 2 before you catch a fox but sometimes it only takes a day or 2
