Well said sniperbeee. I believe I could catch 50% of all my harvest with the visibility and eye appeal alone without using any other lure. In my opinion leave blending of sets to flat sets and post sets. Asa

the trap still looks too far from the hole for me, but that is my own preference. Other than that,looks good.

I've had real good luck with a 3 hole dirt hole set. In the center I have a big hole for eye appeal, and off to the sides I have a poke hole on each side. Trap is centered on the big hole. Normally use a small rock for jaw guard.

Totally agree about the grass...chop it up and your're good to go. Even better, leaving the dirt exposed gives you better eye appeal.

Best thing I see though is that the trap looks well bedded. I'm by no means the "final authority" on trapping but bedding traps has been a key learning for me over the years...looks like you've already got it figured out. Good job - now just go make a BUNCH of em:>)
