i am mostly going for foxes with dirt hole sets does anyone have any bait recipes that i could use. now i mostly use left over dinner meat. i am probably going to switch over to using lures what lure should i use if i am trapping grey fox.

A good cheap Grey Fox bait which is also great on coon is:
In a blender, mix a can of Jack mackerel and 8 oz of cheap cooking oil. Blend it until it is the consistency of a milk shake. Add more oil if needed to do that. Now just squirt a spoonful of this mixture into your dirt hole. I fill up old ketchup squirt bottles.

I have not tried this recipe I have tried a few others that work for me but the jack mack is really good on the greys I have been catching. some things I have added are liquid smoke , molasses , anise, good strong honey , fenugreek , catnip. probably almost any "recipe " you use with jac mac will give some results good luck
