Checked my small line this morning, and low and behold another dumb coon (gotta be dumb if I am getting them) found one of my traps. The wife was with me also, so I got to share that joy with her. I am now working on skinning and fleshing the last two, skinning I have down pat, this fleshing thing is a whole new ball game. Any advice for the neck gristle? I got the flesh off, but it seems there is another layer (kinda white and slimy). Also, do the faces need fleshed?

Will have pics soon.

Thanks for the link, it really helped, second coon went much faster. They turned out okay, I know I didn't get enough off the first one, but I am going to tan them myself, and I can take care of it when it dries. On the boards they measure 29 and 33 to the side of the skin (not the tail), any guess as to what size that is?
