So I made it out this morning to set some beaver traps, and I was making my way back and located a nice run through the swamp, I brought the boat in a little ways, then got out and started wading through the run a bit, picked out a spot to plant a 330, and was getting it ready and about four feet in front of me, the water churned up and up came a whole bunch of mud and muck from the bottom. Beaver must have been coming down the run, saw me, and did a U-turn and bailed out. Now hopefully tommorrow he'll be mine!!

Josh I had a beaver swim between my legs one time and swam out in a bay and turn to come back but he didn't know I had set the trasp in that channel as he was daydreaming. Caught him and got wet from the splashing. That was a real rush.

I've heard a few stories like that from others, I can imagine it would be.

A friend of mine and I were setting 330's in run to a feed pile a couple of years ago. He was just setting the 330 into the run and had just taken the safety off, when a beaver swam into the 330. Not sure if the wetness in his pants came before or after he jumped out of his waders. Once in a lifetime thing I'm sure.
