Thought you may like to see my fur shed. Nothing fancy just a corner in my pole barn that serves as my man cave. I have all the essentials , heat, tunes, good lighting and TV. It is fairly small so you have to keep it organized.
Nice little bench with a vice to work over traps. Notice my hardware is organized in drawers on the wall. And a Fridge stocked with Mountain Dew !
Waders hang neatly on the wall above my heat source a hot water base board fired from my outside wood boiler. The small heater sits above the base board heater and is used mostly as a fan. It has a thermostat that will kick on the fan from the heater and then it will move more air from the base board heater below it when needed. Keeping air movement in this enclosed space really helps dry fur.
You can see my winch drops down through the ceiling in this corner. Everything is at my finger in that corner when I skin like towels and my knives and sharpener.
Here is an Otter on the skinning winch. Man do I like that addition to the shed, no more pulling by hand.
Sure beats trying to skin in a unheated garage !
