kansastrapper21 trapper Registered: 01/07/09 Posts: 71 Loc: Kansas	Called the company that stops in our town to buy furs and he didn't sound real happy on the phone, fur prices and all the calls I'm assuming. Anyway.....He said they probably won't even run a Kansas route this year due to Fur prices. He also said "if your gonna trap don't even start until December cause the early furs will be worth nothing." Kind of a bummer on my second year of trapping, but I guess it will come around again... hopefully soon!! _________________________ Racoon 1 Possom 2 Bobcat Badger Coyote 1

Bghunter119 trapper Registered: 12/21/08 Posts: 166 Loc: Northwest Kansas	When i talked to Greg Pestka 10-27-09, he said they were not coming to kansas, but he would be coming to the kansas/nebraska border, coons with good color 2x or larger would be running 3to 6 dollars, they are buying fur from end of nov/first of dec till the january, i know some of the towns he said they would be in close to me was Alma, beaver City, Mccook,. he said they were still working on routes, and there website was messed up right now, you can pm Marty B, he works for them, they only buyer i heard of so far in kansas is a guy named Calp out of Great bend or Hoisington, but i heard he isnt paying much cooncrazy, thay are still running their nebraska routes according to greg, Edited by Bghunter119 (11/05/09 06:38 AM)
