Its been whats seemed like full moon now for 3 days now. i dont know if this is good or bad. i have about twnety sets out now. about 7 for fox and about 13 for coon. soem people told me the full moon is good but i didnt catch anything last night. so is the full moon good or bad for critter movement. or doesnt this matter enough to worry about it.
thanks

I don't know how the fur looks but it is just a little to early for me yet. Saw a coon and a fox at the fur dealer and they were really blue.good thing they were just getting them tanned.

Have not had the best of luck with the full moon also, so you are not alone. I think the muskrats I am trapping are hit by hawks pretty hard so they don't like that brightness at night much either.

I have never had much luck on full bright moon nights as far as trapping goes but i know you can always tell it was a full moon that night the next day when you drive around because there are ALWAYS alot of road killed deer along the road. Even heard a car insurance rep. one time say there are always alot of deer reports on bright moon nights...

I have not had any luck the past few nights, hopefully it will end when the moon isnt full. Also the deer are out on full moon nights. I was out this morning a counted seven deer in a field at 4:30 just feeding like it was light.

I just got back from a weekend of trapping and hunting coyotes out west here. It was a full moon or pretty close to a full moon the whole time. We set out 18 traps, over half that i set on my own. On the FIRST night i caught a nice coyote, call it beginers luck or something or it might have been full moon. i dont really know?

Not much moving in the full moonlight. Go deep or cattails to catch them. everything is weary and staying in the cover. Predators are in there with them.

I have 9 traps on one parcel of land. Today I had 2 coyotes, 2 Gray fox, 1 cat. Normally I do best the week after the full moon.
Using about a 50/50 mix between food and gland lure.
