I've found myself. . .the wife would argue I can be "odd" at times.

A friend and I wore up in the foothills and found a cheep gun safe full of guns & lots of ammo. The door was not locked so we shot them all put them back in the safe and carried that heavy safe(about 1 mile) all the way back to the truck and took them to the cop shop. Come to find out they belonged to the hunter safty. We never got a thank you or nothen. Only thing we got was cussed out for tuching them.

Last year I was checking traps.Come up on some 220's in a trail set.Laying next to them was a good size 10 point buck.I ran to my truck thinking maybe it was poached and I had busted up the fun.Called the C.O. and he said he'd check on it.I waited until after light and still nothing so I drove over to get another look at it.Someone had actually went to the trouble of shooting this deer,gutting it and hanging it before they decided they didn't want it.Looked like they had hung it for quite awhile.You could see where they pulled it out of their truck on the road and drug it in the ditch.

I have found lots of old traps. Some nice newhouse 114's and a few that had been grown around by trees.

A $20 and a $10 bill while running the hounds on rabbits.

I scared myself once - Thought I'd found a body. Downstream from a bridge, I found a garbage bag and I could make-out a head and torso, and could clearly see shoulders and hips and it really looked like a baby...I worked up the nerve to tear the plastic open and Thank God it was a Pug dog.

I was out coon hunting with a buddy on land that only we had permission to hunt and found and old headlight 2 homeade wooden coon squallers and a brick of 22 ammo scatered within 100 yds of each other. Light didnt work, reeds were garbage in the calls and we were afraid to shoot off the ammo

Stepped on something hard while checking traps one day. It was on the bottom in about two feet of water. I dug it out. Twas a High Standard Sport King.
The bad part was it was mine. It had fallen out of my holster the day before and I did not realize it until I was done and back at the truck.
Lucky I was.
