Those 1.75's work well for cats don't they? I like that top cat,nice pattern.

Yeah I am going to all 1.75/#2 traps I prefer them for cat,fox,coyote. Works perfectly on all three, and I sell my canines alive and foot damage is minimal if any.

yeah its a big cat, their paws are pretty big in comparison to body size.

Today was Two Fox Tuesday lol

Great job Blaine, I haven't started the canines yet. Had two male otter and they are both blue. Just too early to hide trap yet for me. But, I've caught blue otter in Jan. so I guess it's not a big deal, the fur was there though.

I'd think about freezing the early cats for taxidermy. They don't get good here in Kentucky until about mid January.

Nice looking animals! Today was a 1 day for me today, 1 coon, 1 opossum, 1 red fox, and 1 coyote. Yesterday was a 2 day, 2 coons, 2 coyotes, and one stray red fox.

Today was 7 Possum Wednesday, did catch a nice Red and a couple coons.

LT They are not furred up enough to justify killing them, Marty I skinned a Otter Tuesday I believe a good size male that had just the Fainted Blueness to him, dried nice and light. On coons One male was like the Otter light light blue, but females and young ones are still way to blue.

Only have a couple dozen traps out, I am hoping I can thin down the possums some where I can catch something of value. I pulled up to one set this morning that the trap was on a drag, There stood a fine looking coyote, I smiled and pulled on ahead and he walked off. He had worked my set over good but the trap was already filled with a stinking Possum.

Today was skunktastic Thursday. 1 Skunk, 1 Bobcat, 1 Coon, 1 Red Fox (killed by coyotes) and only 4 possums

The big male coons are not to far from being prime, the smaller and female coon are still real blue. The Red this morning was real blue, and a Otter I caught which was a good size male was close to being prime.

Grouse He got caught twice last night, once by my trap then by the coyotes that came by and killed him.
