I started around 10 and got back around 3:45. Only checking every three days, I don't have time to check my whole trapline too often. It's probably close to 30 miles long. I'm guessing I set about 45 traps, but I will count them later.

I just checked my trapline and had two 'rats. Not bad for the trap only being out for 2 hours!

Nothing, the water in the river I was trapping dropped for inches in the night, leaving my traps high and dry. I was preddy disapointed. I will try again in a week up there.

Well I just checked part of my 'rat line before church which is in a half hour. Be sides the trolling motor battery going dead, the water in the boat, and, walking a mile, I had the best day ever! I ended up with 8 rats on part of my line. I didn't get a chance to finish checking my line due to time shortage. I'll check the rest after church! Thanks you guys for helping me out incredibly!

I ran the complete line today.

5 Beaver, 6 Mink, 2 rats and a Coon and last but not least a small ugly Teddy Bear.

If I did not know better I would think Wheelers was around !

Lol, I'm pulling my 'rat line today after school. I wanted to meet my 25 rat' goal so I'm going to put a new line after deer hunting if the slough isn't froze over. So far I have pulled 18 'rats and 1 mink out of my first water trapline... pretty darn good if you ask me! This has been the best year of trapping I have ever had!
