I have some Montana #1 1/2 CS traps. I have never really heard anything good or bad about them. I am wanting to know if there will be anything that needs done to them to make them good coon traps.

Thank you

I was at the booth, ( NTA) that was selling them the year they came out. Behind that booth was one of the best known, big numbers 'coon trapper around.
A kid asked about the 1.5 for 'coon, in which this individual stated, "I don't like them for 'coon."

That caught my attention!

To me it looks like a good solid trap and I'm sure they've worked out the kinks by now.
Looks like the old Montomery's , which I really liked!
I always rework my traps anyway, regardless.
