Fill coffee cans with Quikrete cement mix. Put an eyelet in it before it hardens. Makes an excellent drowning line weight. Drop them in place before season . Excellent drag weights too.

grab a ziplock sandwich bag and stick your cell phone in it if your water trapping or in rainy weather

best advise I ever got bout trapping was KISS it. I gewt out there and WAY over think it.Got a lesson or two on blind sets yesterday and guess what the beginning and end of the learning was about...............Keep it simple stupid!

I have saved those little plastic containers that individual size jello or pudding comes in.
These make great bait and/or lure holders for cage trapping.
Cat food 'tins' also work well and will hold up better than plastic but even some 'coon will 'eat' those every once in a while. Cheap enough to replace though...
