I might start for fox and yotes on the 10 but i might also wait till the 15 but i am not going for coons till the 20th

nov. 18 is the starter.. i catch a few coyotes b4 then becuase i gt a local live market. So i will start posting soon.

i was thinking if i should wait till they prime to trap i cant realy tell if they prime ive never trapped before and our opener is oct. 25

noobtrapper, I'd trap cause if you've never trapped before then you've nevere skined or fleshed so it would be good practice to do that stuff on animals that aren't worht much.

Since you all are so sure the fur is not going to have any value, why then are you going to set traps, flesh and stretch fur? We all know you can make more money fiipping burgers then trapping. Just wondering out loud. Tom

because we love being outside and would rather "waste" our money trapping than make money inside

Our dry land coon season started yesterday. Only got to set out 2 sets because my cousin was getting confirmed. Nothing on this mornings check. Set out 4 more sets today after we checked the 2 that I put out last night. 3 out of the 4 sets we made today we caught 5 coon last year at each one so im feeling pretty lucky I might get something tommorow after noon when I check them.
