Are the mega drowner poles worth the money? Do you find that they have an advantage over cable drowners? If so how do you prefer to stake out the end thats in the water?

I use this set up....using 1/2 in. rebar....I can use the same lock on the trap with the chain when a rod won't work....I have 8 ft. and 10 ft. rods....the lock slides over the end of the rod at the stake loop...washer welded on the water end of the rod for a lock stop........the quick link fastens to the weight...the stake swivel is staked to the bank....chain won't kink and I use it over and over.
