With the large sum being bid on the Alaska Trapping Adventure, I feel it is necessary to make sure the cut-off date/time is clear to everyone so there is no misunderstanding.

Here's how it will go....
Because of the amount of money at stake in this auction, we're going to do it a bit different at the end in order to insure everyone is happy, well, as happy as can be expected.
A mad dash at the 23:59 to be the last bidder with the highest bid may cause some problems. Those with dial-up will be at a disadvantage, and that might cause some hard feelings if that's what caused a late bid.
So, here's how it will end. The last bid at 23:59 on August 15 will have to stand unchallenged for 15 minutes. At any time during that 15 minute time frame, if another bid is received raising the bid by $100. or more, the 15 minute clock will start again at the time of that new bid. This will continue until the last bid remains unchallenged for the fifteen minutes.
If you're not sure about how this works, please say so now so there will be no confusion about it at the end.
I know this has diverted from the original way it was set up to end, but I honestly feel this be a much fairer way to end this auction.
