Bought some traps on ebay listed in "great shape" but they are very rusty. I want to clean them up and get them dyed and ready for this next season. I scrubbed for a long time with a wire brush and got a lot off but there are a lot of places I couldn't reach. Anyone have any tricks to getting them cleaned up? Soak in WD-40 or something? Thanks for any advice.

Soak them in white vinager, they'll come out looking brand new after a couple days

Take them to the car wash after a few days in the vinegar. Don't be afraid to leave em a few days. You'll be surprised how new they will look. RD

If they are real bad, leave them in for 2 weeks.

I use a concrete mixer loaded with Play Sand, and a light shovel full of crusher run.
Adios,

I use a concrete mixer too. But fill mine up with P-Gravel and water.
