One thing Denny, that will speed up trap setting time at your location. Do you do that on water traps also?

Wax them the same way, take them to the set, snip the wire tie and bed them.
I put a piece of the chain in between the jaws when dying my traps,but take it out so they are fully closed when waxing.I dont like to wax the grip surface of my traps.
