Here is the trap I designed, that has been copied and sold through the US.
Only one person had permission to do it but I see other companies making it now too.
What's that they say about "Imitation being the highest form of flattery?" wink

I have a couple of these traps. I was really hoping to use them for fox squirrel. Once I got them I realized that they were too small. frown Instead I use them in the barn to catch rats that I use for bait. Work real well with rats! grin

No, not really...unless you are wanting to mount inside a gutter.

For that work, I have the 3.5 x 3.5, which I call the "Gutter grabber!" Fits down inside, nice and tight!

Yes I designed and made those...Most that are sold are made by a trapper in Cincinnati and sold through WCT...those I don't make.

I designed them for chipmunks and red( pine)squirrels.

They are also a fine bird trap, and i have caught almost every type of small bird in them...including sparrows and starlings.
I have trapped several young rabbits accidently...and once a very small groundhog.

I just wonder how they would do for weasels...I think it could be done!

I have trapped a lot of both red and grey squirrels inside or on top of gutters. I make one that is 3.5" instead of 4". It is called the "Gutter grabber." The 4" ones, I wire to a gutter spike to keep them in place.

I make my own squirrel bait in Black Walnut, Pecan, Almond, Acorn, Pistachio, Honey Roasted Peanut and a few others.

Bob Jameson also make s a top notch squirrel bait and I've caught quite a number of squirrels on it.
