Good luck and let us know how you did. Don't be to disappointed if you have nothing tomorrow give it a few days.

Culverts is a really good spot to set up.

Yep ! Should move a little with the fresh snow.

Milk Jug set works for the Jack Pine Savage.

Even though he was feeling a little slow at the start of this years season he is coming on strong. 120 something Weasels, the old fart has not lost his touch ! Shook his hand yesterday, it was good to see the twinkle in his eye.

well i just got in from making a single box. don't have any of the tools that allow for the production-line quality like some of yours, but it turned out alright. i found a #1 ls that i modified with a nightlatch. that should work pretty good. so tomorrow i'll set it out. i live right by a major highway that has culverts going under it in many places, so i have plenty of oppurtunities. (if i hide it well from the drivers) one question though; i've been through the archives a bit and couldn't find any pictures or explainations on the milk jug. can anyone help me out with this? i think i could put out a lot more if i used this lightweight and easily found "box". so any help would be appreciated.

Could of been mice also. If your using a coni are you using the wire triggers or did you make trip pans for them.

Me I like the pans better. Another thing I find some 110 coni's trip to hard unless worked with them a little. For weasels the victor rat trap is probably the most common trap followed up with either the #1 or #1 1/2 long spring traps.

So did you catch any mice in your victors?

Does your coni's have the wire triggers?

Are your coni's set in boxes?

And remember patience will win in the long run. I call it a learning process and if we catch something everytime out it wouldn't be as rewarding when we do. Have fun.

All that I have caught in my 6 weasel boxes is 3 mice and a chipmunk in the rat traps.

I'm pulling for ya trapperMN. Put your time in and you will be rewarded. It's going to make that first even more special when you do get one.

I know you always hear how easy some things can be but usually it's not the case. Even though your not catching you are gaining something more valuable. Something that is going to catch you more down the road. Something that nobody can ever take away from you.

Do you know what this one thing is?
