Determined and smart!!!

A great combination. You set them and they will come!!! Well we always hope. Right.

To me it's not just about the catch. I like the challenge it brings and just being out in woods.

I am a great fisherman but trapping has become my next chapter of life. So when I jump into something new the first thing I do is read everything and gather as much information as I possibly can.

Then I take that information and decipher which part of it fits my needs. Now any great information sounds good and might of worked for a lot of people but like fishing everybody has their own approach to things. What works for someone might not work for someone else. Now I don't mean ignore what people are saying but what I mean is don't be afraid to try new things as you learn more. This type of thinking carries out in the real world as well.

I am the type that normally don't just fall into things as some lucky people do. No, I find that I have got to put my time into learning and applying my efforts to get rewarded. And in time when the rewards do come they are all worth it even more.

The feeling you have accomplished something on your own with support from good friends.

Good Luck!!

Sorry about the speech my kids don't like to hear them anymore.

Good luck, but remember after you catch one it is an addiction. I just wanted one to see what they were last year, now I am addicted and have over 30 this year.

Yep, I am using them this year in addition to "real" weasel boxes and newspaper tubes. I have caught 2 in the milk jugs, 2 in the "real" boxes, and 1 in the newspaper tubes. My biggest weasel so far was in a milk jug, and the 2 in the "real" boxes are the two smallest weasels I've caught this year.

Your getting closer!!!

I don't know what your using for a box or if you were using milk jugs and you probably already did this but make it so they have got to go over the trap to get to the bait.

Having trouble sleeping or are you dreaming weasels?

You do know once you catch that first one that's when the addiction really begins. Then there is no turning back. No recovery programs can save you. You are destined to trap weasels forever.

So before you go out and check them ask yourself are you ready to accept these conditions? You can turn back it's not to late.

GOOD LUCK!!!
