to add to marbleyes photos here are some more

the good castor photo

last years fur (most of it) 125 beav, 104 rats, 42 mink, and others, all the critters with tags in them in the photo were taken in 9 days

wood vs. wire skunks

fox and skunks

the way a face should look nose and lips gone ears removed (then the grader does not feel a hard wisker or ear when he grades them), I also start fleshing behind the eye so I can take the ear cartilage out so it will not spoil

fur taker, You guys have "GOT IT GOIN' ON!!!" Freaking Awesome put-ups! I especially like that Gray...allmost looks transparent/translucent in places! Beautifull!

Wish we still had some Grays around here. They have all but disappeared.

FlatSet, I have to think, that there are 2 kinds of furs, that the graders say to their co-workers "Check out these furs!"...When they get a LOWSEY batch, and when they get a batch of furs that look like yours! NICE JOB!

2 questions...Why are they easier when they're not drummed? And where do you get corncob grit?

imo, theyre easier to stretch because theyre not greasy and dont slip from my hands when im trying to pin them and they also dry faster.
