when its not sticky any more,i turn them as soon as they won`t stick to the strecher,with a cat thats about 15 minutes

or you can borax it and skip the skin out stage, I also do that with cats, and coyotes.

ditto that!! just started useing borax last year and it is the cats meow

Turn the pelt when the skins feels dry. Generally 12 hours. Turn fur out and leave the front legs inside. Pin ears with cartilage out flat to the head. Leave on board 2 days. Then pull off and hang by the nose for 2 more days.
If you leave the fox to long fur in just use a wet cloth and dampen skin before you try to turn.

Depends on temperature, humidity and whether you have a fan on it.

Check the head and ears. If they are still soft but the skin is dry then it will turn ok.

If the head is fairly hard then it is too dry.

If the head is wet, then it is too early.
