If it is the mice that you want to attract them there them why not just trap a mouse and us it. I can trap a lot more mice in a mouse trap and do it for much cheaper.

If I was going to use this set i would not use the star or trapezoid pattern...it would only work if you use 10 traps and make a circle around the bag......no gaps that is the secret to the whole thing....

Stanley Hawbaker outlined putting mice in a tin travel cage in the back of cubby sets. The copy of his book I have is from the 1940's. (So the whole mice scent at your set idea has been around for a while!) grin

If you want to attract things with mice, use live mice or an electronic squeaker! You can also raise some of those .99 cent mice at the pet store and put their dirty cedar bedding in your dirt holes, or use them to scent your weasel boxes.

gary, not everyone can catch hi dollar possum like you. Im stuck catchen junk, like rats and coon. I have even caught mink in my possum sets. it gets old.IM looken for an edge. the books and videos ohiobuyer puts out are a big help. then FFG starts given out my sets. whats a guy gona do?

another thing thats works really well is to bury and elephant,set 200 traps over it..this set has never failed me

yes but wouldnt mulitple sets produce multiple catches? ive also heard that it is recommended to dig the holes for the elephants by hand while in a hazmat suite, to keep scent to a minimum

yes,if you can afford 2 bull elephant and 400 traps,etc.etc..by all means go for it,but remember..MY Bull may not work for you
