Victor's new 1.75 soft catch 4 coil trap preformed well it only suffered a bent dog. The set was originally a step down walk through dirthole with J. C. Conner Cat gland lure, J. C. Conner Long Distance cat call lure, and cat urine from a female bobcat I caught last year.

Nice job Mark, I got a dozen of the 1/75's and on 1st check this morning- had 2 greys. They seem to be a really good trap. I added a shock spring and a little more chain. Glad that you are doing well.

I need Hunter to teach me a few of his sets.

Is your partner rebedding the trap bare handed? I know that you obviously know what you are doing, thus catching coyotes.

But,.......... the reason I ask this, is that I would have never believed one could use bare hands.

Yes I left the gloves in the truck so we made due with what we had. This was a remake and all kinds of sent was everywhere there anyway. We still should have used gloves though. These animals have not been messed with in a while. The landowner called me and asked me to trap his 5,000 acres as the soul trapper with one partner because of the good job I done on his brother's farms. Happy trapping!

btw, do you ever go without soft catch, yet on a four coil vic 1.75? That's the same trap I use, just offset, and only two coil. Was told the four would be too likely to brake bones?

State law requires us to use sofe catch unless we set is water.
