Nice history article. I always have liked leather garments. I have a thick soft lace up shirt made I think, of elk. It's thicker than deerskin , so I'm guessing elk. Very soft and comfy to wear. Other than the Mtn Man rondys, I've seen quality leather clothes at the authentic Celtic festivals too.

I wanted to tell you from your last weeks thread , I'm glad you like the old rifles ! I only was referring to my taste alone. There is something for everyone, so the main point is, all firearms are great in the variety offered in our wonderful free country. I did shoot an old 50 Hawken years ago. That was fun.

My wife has had both hips replaced and she made it look like a walk in the park compared to my knee replacements.
My sister has had hips and knees done and hips and way easier.

They are still made. Minnesota Trapline should have some in a week or 2.

2 dollars in 68 money should have been 6.80 in 1988 money so 5 bucks wasn't as good as I thought it was

The only tricky thing is in Manitoba, you need a licence or permit for everything. My animal, my bones, but the person buying them technically requires a possession permit or an animal parts dealers licence……and the authorities lay this on the seller to make sure the buyer has the right stuff.
I just tell them roughly the location of a pile of bones if they want to go get some for free……..but nobody wants to get off their feet, walk out there and get em……lol

There should be one at the FTA in August. Got to see a prototype this weekend at the ITA convention.
