Ok I finally connected, actually twice. I had three traps that had been tipped down but didn't fire. So I spread the triggers a little wider to give them more room and preset the trigger a little to let the triggers move a little before they fire

good post garry. it proves there are no PERFECT pan placement. we have to learn and actually think like the animal. What makes him move his feet more, stay at a set longer, and if he won't work a set we watch what else he shows us to put his foot

I read about this in a T&PC article. Take an old sock, fill it with bait, soak it in liquid bait. Hang from top of bucket in back. Mice cant reach it but with the bait in and on the sock the smell can still get to the coons nose.
