OhioBoy ,
Thanks for the info , very helpful.

[Linked Image]

According to that data , and the patent number # 2032695
Circa 1937-1950

Kinda cool having a 75+ year old lighter that still works just fine.

Thanks again grin

If it's made of plastic the first coon in that trap will have it chewed up and spit out

I read a lot of the thread but not all. If I could have one and only one commercially made bodygrip stabilizer it would hands down be the KB. Frozen shore early spring beaver trapping they are the best! So many scenarios they are all I need with a small stick for aid here and there. I’ll likely be making some new ones of my own similar to Seldoms. I trap muck, rock, frozen ground, you name it, I love em.

As far as the tangle deal, I don’t think they’re too bad. I have the big steel carabiners on cable hooking them to the inside of the spring eyes. Happy trapping! ScottW

We have both. I have a Plan G UnitedHealthcare Supplement, and my wife has Humera Medicare Advantage. If these don't cover everything, TriCare for Life usually does.

Tell us about the group plan you are considering. Are you retiring soon? My wife's retired state employee plan is about inflation proof. My retiree spending account pays for my Supplement G, even when premiums increase.

My wife was a NC school administrator for 30 years. I retired from Prudential and served in the Coast Guard Reserve for 27 years. We are very fortunate to not have any health insurance costs.

I'm not in adc but I've doubled prices since 2020. Wages, fuel, vehicle maintenance, insurance, etc have also seemingly doubled.

I have, just up the set-up fee.
I got a square mile radius that I stay with in.
As far of miles, 30 miles radius.

No one ever wants to pay my above charge.
Also not my sole income, got a full-time pay job.

The 13 traps mentioned alone cover your investment. If more information is wanted, pictures and ?’s should be redirected to the Collector’s Forum. Wealth of knowledge there, but pictures are invaluable in determining what values are held. No matter what at $2 a trap you can’t go wrong….

Mother dog's cleaning up after the pup's often develop that habit.

So....do I put meat tenderizer on the turds in the yaahd ??

No, on the kibble at feeding time.

I guess you do not recognize sarcasm ? I think it should be on every public forum, showing how insane NY Democrats in Albany are.

If people are willing to shell out 154,000,000 just sit down and watch a NBA game [ 7700 avg price per seat X 20,000 seats] I would guess there is some money out there for the market. crazy

Someday you'll invade Canada for the water. Look into the Ogallala Aguifer, it is depleting rapidly. Too much drought, too many people, too much irrigation, a big problem is coming. Groundwater systems are in severe decline. I'm sure all of the AI data centers will help.

They are still made. Minnesota Trapline should have some in a week or 2.

The above was posted by him on another thread today.
I agree. Have a few and use them situations using related to rocky conditions a handful of times a year.
