I used a nail in tree or log to hold them until coon pulls it free. Just pound in and bend over enough to hold . Coon willl pull it loose when caught.

the round pipe was the first ones. the latest are still square. if i had to change anything i would increase the distance from the end of the trap to the footstrap holes by 1/4 of an inch. this would allow more clearance for the "dog" to p
