This is from a couple weeks ago when I had a coyote step just over my pan. Today I had a coyote investigate a set but not step on the pan. Do I need more guiding?

There are 2 holes, one at each stalk, the one hole is at the junction of the rock and cornstalk. Blocked out too much?

What do you mean by regular live trap? The trap has to be big enough to have a 60 pound or bigger beaver fit inside.

mine opened on friday. We are able to set the day before. I love the way our trapping season goes. I don't start fur trapping till December 10. I trap for farmers now

I use to skin a limb either before I reached a set or on the opposite side , never had a trap stolen or critter killed.

You have to get the possum out of the way to get to the good stuff. Beside's that possum smile at you. You got to love those grinner's.

Depends on what I am after and how long I am in the area. Muskrat, a couple days and I move them with no activity. Coon, I leave those for a week. Fox and coyote I give 2 weeks. Beaver a couple days.

Sometimes emotions overrule common sense. Once I was taking a guy to the hole and remembered he was the one that kicked his seven year old in the stomach and killed him. Cannot explain the emotion I felt but restrained myself.

If you have a skunk spray under an enclosed area..... you will most likely not have any "other" skunks left, as they hate the smell as much as we do. Don't assume that just because you smell skunk spray that there is a skunk there..... usua
