I have tried keens because they fit so well , they just do not hold up for me 4 pair
where the the boot flexes at the ball , it would split about 5 months in
I like Keens as well, the Targhee model. Really comfortable and waterproof. But they are not durable. I don't wear them for work or I'd be going through them every three months. I wear them when I'm not working and get about a year or so out of them.
The were having issues with the soles separating, using crappy glue. I complained several times. It seems they have fixed that issue.
I just watered again and there were ice balls from the last watering 10-15 min ago. The theory is the ice helps insulate it...hmmm...a few days will tell. Thx for the tip wright brothers...will try to keep some around for future needs.
This is just more of the same engineering so you have go to dealer for simple maintenance. GM trucks have similar problems if you do a brake job yourself, the truck will most likely go into limp mode.
Let me see the face of the piston. Does it have a couple notches in it? You probably need that special clamp that twists it while its applying pressure.
The first one I did had me scratching my head too.
